Well, we are finally doing it! Ian and I have been preparing our house as we get ready to put it on the market. We still have a little bit of painting that needs to be done in the house but last week we had all of the carpet replaced, our handy man came out for minor repairs, gutters are scheduled to be cleaned, the lawn service and tree service made an appearance and on Sunday, we conquered the dreaded garage makeover. With a little music and some good old fashion marital teamwork, Ian and I were able to tackle everything on our to do list.
- Remove and wipe down everything in the garage
- Sweep Floors
- Patch holes
- Repaint walls
- Wipe down and deep clean lower paneling
- Reorganize shelves
- Box up items we are putting in storage after the move
- Paint the steps
Surprisingly, we were able to get the entire project knocked out in about 6 hours.
Before The Garage Makeover:
Ian and I were SO EXCITED about finishing up the garage that we tried to do a running high five. Unfortunately, our lack of coordination was clear when we completely missed. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.
